All You Need to Know

Natural lighting and outdoor photography are great for capturing your children at play and your family in more casual, natural poses while the indoor studio shots usually work best for baby and maternity portraits. I can also do a wide variety of indoor portraits of families and individuals ranging from fun-loving to more serious.

I am a mother of three busy boys so I know how hard it is sometimes to get the images you want of kids, especially if you or they feel rushed! I always leave a lot of time during the photo sessions for kids to relax and play so that the images we get are really of who they are. Most sessions are 60-90 minutes in length, but some sessions (typically newborn sessions) run up to two hours in length.

Within two weeks of your session I will provide you with a personal web link where you can view the images from your session. If you are purchasing prints you can choose the images you would like to purchase. The online galleries are also a fun way to share your images with family and friends. I will keep your proofs on the website for three weeks so you'll have lots of time to pick and choose, or send the proofs link around to your friends and family. I promise a minimum of 75 photographs from your session. Your print order is usually ready within 1-2 weeks of your order and I'll contact you when it is finished. Large prints (11x14 and larger) and framed prints may take longer.

Clothing: for the best looking results in family pictures I suggest wearing the same type of clothing (ie: everybody in the same colour family, or everybody in jeans/tshirts, or everybody wearing the same type of clothing (casual, formal, etc). Avoid wearing clothing with large logos too.

There are a wide range of pricing packages available (check out the pricing link). I'm also able to provide on-site printing for events (corporate events, birthday parties, etc) so your guests can take home a photo memento from the party.

I am also doing custom designed photo cards too, from birth announcements to wedding thank-you cards.
